Project Proposal #9 | Box Building Kit (Quilt Projects)

Box Construction Kit by Quiltwerke – a modular box system for sorting, storing, and enhancing your home decor. Beginner-friendly, endlessly combinable: You choose the outer fabric, inner fabric, and rivet finish yourself and create your very own set.

How the Construction Kit Works: The list below shows a finished Standard Combination. Simply swap individual items for your desired color – all alternatives are available in the shop.

Outer Fabric (60 cm, half-linen Essex): Standard Essex Yarn Dyed Chambray. Alternatives: Steel, Essex Black, Yarn Dyed Seafoam, Yarn Dyed Oyster.

Inner Fabric (60 cm, patchwork cotton): Standard Mineral Fusion – Labyrinthine. Alternatives: Andover Glaze Cream, Drift Away in the Tropics, Be Positive Swept Away, Renew Tiles Aqua, Windham Dots Aqua, Rifle Paper Garden Party Blue, Splendid Oath Ink, Glaze Milkglass, Soar Dancing Crane, Luna Periwinkle, Petite Fleur Blossom Teal, Linen Texture Duck Egg.

Interfacing: Vlieseline G700 iron-on interfacing plus a firm stabilizer: Standard Vlieseline Decovil I with a leather-like feel – alternatively Peltex 71F.

Rivets & Tools: 6mm hammer-on rivets in Gun Metal (standard), Nickel, Black, or Antique Gold (brass-colored) – plus the matching setting tool. Rivets are placed at the corners and give the boxes a high-quality look.
