Vlieseline Decovil I – stable fusible interfacing with leather-like texture for creative projects

If your project demands structure, shape, and lasting stability, then Decovil I is just right: This high-quality, iron-on fleece is solid, shape-retaining, and durable – with a distinctive leather-like feel. It gives fabrics stability without appearing stiff or intrusive.

Ideal for bags, hats, belts, interiors, or any fabric that needs strong reinforcement – and that with an elegant surface.

Material & details:

• Weight: approx. 400 g/m² 

• Composition: approx. 45% cellulose, 30% polyester, 25% polyamide (PA) 

• Color: Beige 

• Properties: very tear-resistant, leather-like, shape-retaining, not wrinkly, easy to shape/punch. 

• Iron-on: Place coated side on fabric, iron with a damp cloth for about 6 seconds – section by section.

• Bags, belts, hats, baskets, or accessories with a robust structure

• Decoration & home textiles with body (e.g., boxes, utensil holders)

• Projects with cotton, synthetic fabrics, or decorative woven fabrics

If your project demands real body and a high-quality surface – e.g., a leather pouch look or a sturdy fabric box – then Decovil I is just right. Fabric is not only perfectly supported but also gains a noble feel. Not suitable for designs that need to be turned after ironing.
