Vlieseline H 640 – the strong volume fleece for structure with a soft drape

Some projects require more than lightness – they need grip, volume, and stability before sewing begins. This is exactly where H 640 comes in: With a thickness of approx. 6 mm, it gives your textiles a noticeable padding without feeling stiff. Whether quilting, with voluminous gathered holders, or warming jackets – when the fabric demands structure & softness at the same time, this volume fleece is your helper.

• Weight: approx. 131 g/m² (according to manufacturer specifications) 

• Thickness: approx. 6 mm

• Composition: 100% polyester (approx. 40% recycled fibers)

• One-sided adhesive – for ironing on

• OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class II certified

Ideally suited

• For projects with distinct volume: e.g., tiebacks, thicker quilts, patchwork and quilting projects

• Especially suitable for light to medium-weight fabrics that require excellent padding

• Ideally combinable with other interfacings: For example, for bags – first a layer of S 320 for structure, then H 640 for volume

Care instructions

• Washable up to 40 °C on a gentle cycle

• Dry cleanable

• Test on a fabric scrap before use – especially with delicate materials or when using multiple layers
