Alchemist – Enchanted is your introduction to quilting. No prior knowledge needed, no complicated trimming, no fear of crooked seams. Simple shapes, straight seams, a result to be proud of – and above all: it wants to be used.

Enchanted is the first part of The Making of a Quilter – a series that takes you project by project into quilting. Each kit builds on the previous one, becoming a little more complex – and you'll hardly notice it, because you'll simply keep getting better along the way.

What awaits you: Lively, bold colors in a palette full of energy – vibrant orange, radiant pink, fresh turquoise, and deep petrol that holds it all together. The fabrics are hand-picked: Art Gallery Pure Solids for buttery soft feel and rich colors – durable and beautifully draping.

The kit includes all fabrics for your quilt top, a spool of thread, and detailed instructions in German that guide you step-by-step. No guesswork, no YouTube marathon at three in the morning. Although – you're certainly allowed to do that anyway.

You're not alone with it: With your kit, you receive an invitation to our moderated WhatsApp group – for two months. Ask any question that comes to mind. Show what you're sewing. Ask the same thing three times. No one judges, everyone is just starting out. No shame, just needle and thread and people who are exactly where you are.

Complete your kit: Batting, backing fabric, and binding can be added on directly here on the page – cut to size and color-coordinated. This way, you truly have everything you need to sew your first quilt from start to finish.

And if the colors aren't your thing? Then send the kit back. Yes, really. In a fabric store, that's anything but a given – but I want you to fall in love with your first project. Not just settle for it.
