Enchanted is the first project from The Making of a Quilter – a beginner series that introduces you to quilting project by project. Each kit introduces exactly one new technique and becomes a little more complex. You simply follow the steps and realize along the way how you become more confident with each quilt.

What awaits you: vibrant, bold colors in a palette full of energy – bright orange, radiant pink, fresh turquoise, and deep petrol that holds it all together. The fabrics are hand-picked: Art Gallery Pure Solids with a buttery soft feel, rich color, and a drape that remains beautiful even after many washes.

Everything in the kit is prepared so you can start right away: all fabrics for your quilt top, matching thread, and a detailed instruction manual in German that guides you step by step. No guesswork, no YouTube marathon at three in the morning – unless you just feel like it.

You won't be sewing alone: With your kit, you'll receive an invitation to our moderated WhatsApp group (for two months). Ask any question, share your progress, even ask the same thing three times. This is the place to try things out – without judgment, with a lot of understanding for pre-cutting jitters.

If you like, you can complete your kit: batting, backing fabric, and binding can be added as add-ons directly here – pre-cut and color-coordinated. This way, you really have everything you need to sew your first quilt from start to finish.

And if you unpack the kit and realize: the colors aren't for you after all? Then send it back. Yes, really. That's not a given in a fabric store – but I want you to fall in love with your first quilting project, not just settle for it.
