Warm Quilt Batting Made of Virgin Wool – Natural, Soft, and Dimensionally Stable

This high-quality quilt batting made of 80% virgin wool and 20% polyester is a particularly pleasant choice for warm and natural quilting projects. It combines the soft feel of wool with good dimensional stability – perfect for quilts that drape easily yet remain beautifully structured.

With a medium thickness of approximately 1 cm and about 150 g/m², the batting provides pleasant warmth without feeling heavy. It can be quilted both by hand and by machine, with a recommended quilting distance of 8 to 10 cm.

Please note that your batting should be 10 cm larger on each side than the quilt top.

Care instructions:
After quilting, the batting can be washed on a wool cycle at 30 °C. Afterwards, dry flat and, if necessary, iron on a low setting.

Since wool fibers are particularly fine and elastic, in rare cases, some fibers may show through the fabric during washing. For very fine outer fabrics, it is therefore recommended to use a thin layer of Vlieseline or a light intermediate fleece.
