Project Proposal #3 | Magpie Quilt - Hackney Quilter

You will need:
Magpie Quilt by The Hackney Quilter – a graphic quilt made from narrow strips that interweave to form an iridescent check pattern. This project suggestion is designed as a Large Throw (approx. 152 × 203 cm) in the six-colour variation.
For the colour palette, we chose Art Gallery PURE Solids – rich, densely woven plain fabrics:
- Royal Cobalt (deep navy blue) as the dominant base
- Creme de la Creme as a light partner
- Vibrant accents in Festival Fuchsia, Burnt Orange, Pineapple and Wisteria
Plus Creme de la Creme for the backing, Royal Cobalt for the binding and Vlieseline 276 cotton quilt batting. All quantities are pre-set in the ingredient list below – each item can be adjusted, deselected or replaced with fabrics from your stash.
