Katia Washable Kraft Paper is your "vegan leather" with a paper look – a washable paper fabric made of cellulose and latex with a cool, slightly crinkled appearance. It feels like a mix of sturdy paper and thin leather and develops that typical, casual used effect over time.
You can use it to sew lunch bags, bread bags, cosmetic and toiletry bags, wallets, cases, project bags, label patches, tablet/laptop sleeves, or decorative covers for flower pots. In combination with canvas, recycled canvas, or cotton, you can create super lightweight, stable, and very modern accessories – ideal for anyone who likes the "paper look" but wants something durable.
The fabric is quite stable, but can be easily sewn with a universal needle 90/100 – similar to thin synthetic leather. You can wash it once or knead it before processing if you want a softer, more wrinkled look; for clearer, "cleaner" edges, process it unwashed.
