Katia's Recycled Canvas is a sturdy yet pleasantly soft canvas with a chambray effect – visually a bit like a light denim, but significantly thinner and more flexible. It is made from recycled cotton and recycled polyester, making it a sustainable choice for bags, home textiles, and accessories.

You can use it to sew shoppers, backpacks, project bags, cushion covers, table runners, tablecloths, curtains, fabric baskets, storage caddies, or covers for chairs and benches. It's ideal as a backing for a picnic quilt. This canvas is also perfect for laptop sleeves, pencil cases, toiletry bags, or durable children's room decor (seat cushions, playmat covers, etc.) – anywhere you need some structure but not heavy upholstery material.

Thanks to the blend of recycled cotton and recycled polyester, the fabric has a rustic and natural look, yet is durable and Oeko-Tex certified. It is easy to cut and sew, especially with a universal needle size 80/90; for multiple layers or bags with firm interlinings, Katia recommends an even-feed foot or increased presser foot pressure.
