Katia's Polyripstop Neon fabric is an ultra-light, waterproof functional fabric made from 100% polyester with a classic ripstop structure. Integrated, slightly thicker threads form a fine check pattern and make the fabric particularly tear-resistant – ideal for active outfits and outdoor projects.

You can use it to sew, for example, sports and rain jackets, windbreakers, light trousers, overalls, vests, rain ponchos or reflective overlayers for children and adults. It is also suitable for bag linings, ultra-light backpacks, wet bags, shoe covers or rain protection for school bags and bicycle panniers.

The fabric is waterproof, slightly breathable, pleasantly cool on the skin and, thanks to its neon colours, a real eye-catcher – particularly practical when visibility is an issue (e.g. school run, sports, cycling). Despite its technical properties, it remains soft and wrinkle-resistant, is easy to fold and sew, and is therefore also very suitable for ambitious hobby sewing projects.
