Katia's Nylon Matte Waterproof fabric is a super-lightweight, waterproof functional fabric made from 100% polyamide with an elegant, matte surface. It is thin, soft, and surprisingly robust – perfect for sewing rain and outdoor projects with a clean, modern look.

You can use it to sew rain jackets, parkas, windbreakers, raincoats, lightweight overalls, rain pants, and rain covers for backpacks, bike bags, or strollers. This fabric also makes a lot of sense for bags, backpacks, toiletry bags, wet bags, sports bags, or as a water-repellent outer layer over quilted fabrics.

The fabric is pleasantly soft, rustles minimally, and its matte finish gives it a significantly more "dressed-up" look than classic shiny raincoat fabrics. Due to its low weight, it folds easily, adds little bulk, and is also ideal for lined jackets or layered projects.
