Katia's Nylon Matte Waterproof fabric is a super-light, waterproof functional fabric made from 100% polyamide with an elegant, matte surface. It is thin, soft, and at the same time amazingly robust – perfect if you want to sew rain and outdoor projects with a clean, modern look.

You can use it to sew rain jackets, parkas, windbreakers, raincoats, light overalls, rain pants, and rain covers for backpacks, bike bags, or strollers. This fabric also makes perfect sense for bags, backpacks, toiletry bags, wet bags, sports bags, or as a water-repellent outer layer over quilted fabrics.

The fabric is pleasantly soft, rustles little, and has a significantly more "dressed-up" look due to its matte finish than classic shiny rain jacket fabrics. Its low weight makes it easy to fold, hardly adds bulk, and is also ideal for lined jackets or layered-look projects.
