Katia's Nylon Matte Waterproof fabric is a super-lightweight, waterproof functional fabric made from 100% polyamide with an elegant, matte surface. It is thin, soft, and at the same time astonishingly robust – perfect if you want to sew rain and outdoor projects with a clean, modern look.

You can use it to sew rain jackets, parkas, windbreakers, raincoats, light overalls, rain trousers, and rain covers for backpacks, bicycle bags or strollers. This fabric also makes a lot of sense for bags, backpacks, toiletry bags, wet bags, sports bags, or as a water-repellent outer layer over quilted fabrics.

The fabric is pleasantly soft, rustles little, and due to its matte finish, has a significantly more "dressed-up" look than classic shiny rain jacket fabrics. Thanks to its low weight, it folds well, adds little bulk, and is also ideal for lined jackets or layering projects.
