Eat & Sew by Katia is a transparent, food-safe plastic made of EVA – perfect for sewing reusable lunch and snack packaging. The film is soft, flexible, waterproof and BPA-free, so it can safely come into contact with food.
You can use it to sew bread bags, lunch bags, reusable sandwich wraps, fruit and vegetable bags, inserts for cool bags or inner linings for bread and snack pouches. Eat & Sew also makes perfect sense as a protective layer for cutting boards, placemats or as an insert in baskets and boxes – anywhere food needs to be protected from moisture and dirt.
The film is surprisingly easy to work with: you can sew it with a sharp universal needle, it is not too stiff and can be folded, rolled and shaped. Its matte, slightly milky appearance makes it look more premium than "normal" household film, yet it remains discreetly in the background.
