The Purest Cotton Knit Stripes Color by Katia is a soft jersey knit made from 100% organic cotton (GOTS-certified) – free from pesticides and fertilizers, providing a genuine feel-good factor directly on the skin. It is hypoallergenic and OEKO-TEX certified, making it the first choice for anything babies and toddlers wear directly on their bodies.

You can use it to sew bibs, rompers, hats, dresses, and booties – in short: everything little ones need from the very beginning. The fabric is wonderfully suitable for all types of baby clothing because it is gentle on delicate skin.

The stripe pattern in off-white, beige, and delicate brown looks calm and timeless – perfectly combinable and a real eye-catcher without too much fuss. The handfeel is soft and pleasantly supple, and the fabric has the typical jersey stretch that provides freedom of movement and is easy to handle when sewing. For clean, stretchy seams, a low upper thread tension with a small stitch is recommended – this way, the seams will not tear even when stretched. Hems are best done with a jersey twin needle.
