Katia's Purest Cotton Knit is a GOTS-certified jersey made from 100% organic cotton – completely chemical-free and hypoallergenic. It is biodegradable and also bears the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate, making it the ideal choice for anyone who wants to sew consciously and skin-friendly.

You can use it to sew delicate baby clothes, rompers, bibs, and hats – but also T-shirts and dresses for adults. The fabric is available in raw white-ecru and light brown and can be easily combined with other fabrics from Katia's Purest Cotton Knit collection.

The feel is soft, even, and pleasantly natural – typical for a high-quality knit. The fabric has good stretch and drapes beautifully on the body. When sewing, a low upper thread tension and a small stitch are recommended so that the seams do not break when stretched.
