With the bias tape maker, you can create bias tape from your own cotton fabrics in just a few minutes, e.g. for webbing, piping, binding necklines, armholes, and necklines, or quilt binding. You cut fabric strips (on the bias at a 45° angle for classic bias tape or lengthwise/crosswise for "tape cloth"), feed them through the shaping insert, and iron the resulting double-folded tape directly as you pull it out.
The 25 mm version is suitable for finished bias tapes of approx. 25 mm width (corresponds to 1"), ideal for bags, quilts, and apparel if you want slightly wider edgings or decorative accents. With the 28mm version, the finished bias tape will be correspondingly narrower.
