Seaside Garden by Shelley Cavanna for Benartex is inspired by the enchanted cottage gardens of Carmel-by-the-Sea. "Garden Gate Lilac" translates this garden atmosphere into a delicate, graphic garden gate pattern – a subtle lattice/trellis motif in soft lilac, which works as an airy blender between the larger floral prints in the collection. It is a high-quality patchwork fabric made from 100% cotton with the typical soft yet sturdy feel of good quilting cotton.
The fabric is wonderfully suitable for patchwork and quilts – especially as a calm partner to more striking prints – and can also be beautifully sewn into cushion covers, table runners, placemats, project bags, cosmetic bags, storage baskets, or small accessories.
The composition is 100% cotton in good patchwork quality, with a width of approx. 112 cm. Machine wash at 30 °C, pre-wash before cutting, do not tumble dry hot.
The colorway Garden Gate Lilac: a soft, light lilac that gives the delicate grid pattern a light, spring-like touch. It combines effortlessly with cream and aqua tones, as well as with the floral prints and the Garden Gate Cobalt colorway from the same Seaside Garden collection.
