Seaside Garden by Shelley Cavanna for Benartex is inspired by the enchanted cottage gardens of Carmel-by-the-Sea. "Garden Gate Cobalt" translates this garden atmosphere into a delicate, graphic garden gate pattern – a subtle lattice/trellis motif in strong cobalt blue, which works as an elegant blender among the large floral prints in the series. It is a high-quality patchwork fabric made from 100% cotton with the typical soft, yet stable feel of good quilting cotton.
The fabric is wonderful for patchwork and quilts – especially as a calm partner to more striking prints – and can be just as beautifully sewn into cushion covers, table runners, placemats, project bags, cosmetic pouches, storage baskets, or small accessories.
The composition is 100% cotton in good patchwork quality, with a width of approximately 112 cm. Machine wash at 30 °C, pre-wash before cutting, do not tumble dry hot.
The colorway Garden Gate Cobalt: a deep, clear cobalt blue that gives structure and calmness to the fine lattice pattern. It combines effortlessly with cream and aqua tones, as well as with the floral prints and the Garden Gate Lilac colorway from the same Seaside Garden series.
